I don,t have a 955 but have a 970 JD with a loader and 7.5' backhoe, we got it in 1997 new , we cleared 10 ac's of tree with it, used it every day for loading,cutting the fields, manure spreading,drilling 1000's of post holes we went through 2 post hole diggers, stone loading, to date, just oil changes every 50 hours, filters, 3 flat front tires, a small cracked front hood piece,( loaded a little bit to much fire wood once) have the new part but no time to install it and a new battery this year. Other than that 600 hours and no major repairs, the only thing I would have liked is a inclosed cab. Winter is hard on a horse farm. ....

have a JD 790. does great. fenders,panels dont matter. frame, ingine, trans. is whats important ....

I need a new or used Front End Loader for a Model 855 John Deere Tractor. I am told that a loader for a Model 755 or 955 will fit. John Deere or "After Market" Brand . E-mail me at dvtyre@wayxcable.com if you know anyone who has one for sale or a manufacturers name. I am really having trouble finding one.
